Blocking a phone number prevents calls and messages from unwanted callers. This measure helps you avoid disturbances and filter out unwanted contacts. All blocked phone numbers are stored in a separate list, which you can access and manage at any time.

Using the In-App Search

1. On the NumBuster Home screen, enter the phone number in the search field
2. Tap the Block button to block this phone number

Using the Share Contact Feature in Your iPhone Call Log

1. Open the standard Phone app on your device
2. Locate the desired number and tap the (i) icon to its right
3. Tap the Share Contact option
4. Select NumBuster from the list of apps—the phone number page will open. If NumBuster does not appear in the list, follow the instructions to add NB to the menu.
5. Tap the Block button on the phone number page

Once blocked, the caller will be unable to call you or send SMS messages. This helps you restrict unwanted interactions, with the option to remove the phone number from your blocklist later if needed.

Important: If a phone number is saved in your contacts, NumBuster will not be able to block it because iPhone considers it a trusted number. In this case, you should block it through the system menu in the Phone app.
