SMS blocking helps to get rid of unwanted messages—spam, advertising mailings, and intrusive offers. In the NumBuster application, you can block messages sent from specific phone numbers, as well as by keywords.

SMS Blocking by Phone Number

1. On the NumBuster home screen, find the menu section SMS Block
2. Tap the tab Stop-numbers
3. Tap the option Add
4. In the pop-up window, enter the phone number and confirm addition

SMS Blocking by Keywords

1. On the NumBuster home screen, find the menu section SMS Block
2. Tap the tab Stop-words
3. Tap the option Add
4. In the pop-up window, enter a word (for example: “promo”, “loan”) and confirm

SMS from the specified phone numbers or with selected words will no longer reach you. This helps to reduce the amount of spam and not be distracted by unnecessary messages.

How to Delete a Phone Number or a Word

1. On the NumBuster home screen, tap the tab SMS Block
2. Tap the tab Stop-numbers or Stop-words
3. Find the required line in the list
4. Swipe it to the left and tap the option Delete

After deletion from the list, messages will start reaching you again. This is convenient if a phone number or a word was added by mistake or you changed your mind about blocking them.
